Purchased: Dec 2023 Palm Beach County Fairgrounds Antiques Show
This photo is made up as a postcard, so there is no studio name or location to act as a clue to who this may be. However, the cloche-like hat seems to indicate early 1920s, as does the style of coat. The side-button shoes would tend to indicate an earlier date, but may be second hand or hand-me-downs.
As this is a postcard, it bears a stamp box on the reverse which contains some timeframe clues in the form of the AZO code.
In the corners of the AZO stamp box, there are 4 triangles, all pointing upward. This configuration was known to have been used during the years 1904-1918.
More research to be done here.
